This is the last bread share before my vacation and the summer farmers market season!! Thanks for being part of a full year of bread. I have decided to focus on the Farmers Markets this summer and pick up with the bread shares again in the fall. This way I get a day off every week to enjoy the beautiful Montana summer. If for some reason you can not make it to either markets in Bozeman, let me know and we can talk about a pick up option for you. I don’t want you to be without bread! The Tuesday market at Bogert Park starts June 7th and the Saturday Market at the Fairgrounds June 18th. I am really looking forward to seeing you all there! I will still be posting recipes and other things on my blog every other week and if you are not part of my newsletter yet, be sure to sign up on this week to receive a special discount that will only be for you, my bread share customers!
For now I will leave you with a wonderful sandwich idea: Apple-Avocado-Blue Cheese Pistachio Open Face Sandwich
Butter the cooled toast. Cut the avocado and apple in slices and arrange on the bread alternating one slice of avocado and one slice of apple. Sprinkle with blues cheese and pistachios and drizzle honey over the top. Enjoy it as an open face sandwich for lunch!
